Marrakech Sight Seeing Tour ( ½ Day 03 hours)

Description:
Marrakech has always been something of a pleasure, a marketplace where the southern tribesmen and Berber villagers bring their goods, spend their money and find entertainment. For visitors it’s an enduring fantasy- a city of immense beauty, low, red and tent-like before a great shaft of mountains- immediately exciting.
Monuments and Landmarks: you will see the famous KOUTOUBIA Tower (11thcentury), Bahia palace (19th century) and SAADIENN Tombs (16thcentury).

OURIKA Valley and the High Atlas (1 day)
Description:
OURIKA valley is located in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. It sits sixty kilometres from Marrakech in the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Even though the OURIKA valley is near to the populated Marrakesh, it is one of the most unspoiled valleys in all of Morocco.
The valley is a maze of lush greens within salt mines. The OURIKA Valley is one of the most beautiful and best preserved valleys in Morocco. The region is without a doubt the perfect tourist destination for people who seek Moroccan adventure, discovery relaxation and meditation.
Through OURIKA Valley is the OURIKA River, which begins in the High Atlas Mountains and runs down towards Marrakesh. The OURIKA Valley is much more than a tourist location since it houses a number of plant species and the rare Barbary Macaques…
The high Atlas Walking excursion is great for those who want to see the beautiful splendour of the high Atlas Mountains without trekking to the summit. The trek begins at “SETTI FATMA” tourists walk for an hour until they are in the heart of the Valley. At this juncture there are waterfalls, which provide a resplendent place to take pictures. A family that lives in the Valley often opens their home to visitors who wish to enjoy their surroundings and partake of a meal. OURIKA’s atmosphere and unique decor is sure to impress you!

IMLIL Valley and the massif Toubkal with Mules riding (1 day)
Description:
IMLIL is approximately 64 km south of Marrakech and it can be reached by road through the foothills of the High Atlas Mountains… IMLIL is the end of the tarmac road and is a natural place to hire mountain guides and mules for the onward trek. It is a good starting point for a trekking holiday or for climbing Toubkal, the highest mountain in North Africa (4167 metres).
On Saturdays youcan visit the ASNI Berber market walk up to the Kasbah and explore the surrounding trails, superb views along the valley of RIRAYA…At this point in the mountains, it becomes true Berber country…Arrival to IMlIL and you meet a guide for the hiking or mule riding, walk through the small High Atlas Mountain village of AREMD.

The Ourika waterfalls and the Berber tracks  (Ourika Valley, Sidi Farés, Assni) (1 day)
Description:
Morning departure from your riad/Hotel, (usually at 8 AM). Away from the city of Marrakech, and approximately one hour in the direction of the grand Atlas, you will discover a large green and leafy lowland called the Ourika valley. A visit to the weekly souk of Ourika Tnin is optional (the Monday of the Ourika). Afterwards, we will continue our drive along the river up to the village of Sitti FDAMA.

Sitti Fadma is the point of departure for a good hike on foot for approximately one hour towards the cascades. On the way back, you will get to enjoy a good traditional Moroccan tea by the river before resuming our ride to the second valley of Sidi Fares.
You will be astonished at the hard labour the local Berber populations must have performed when winching up the mountain side the materials necessary to build the small houses you can see scattered all over the mountain slope or when setting up the terraces necessary to cultivate the land in a hostile environment.
You will be amazed by the colourful landscape constituting a perfect mix between the ochre-coloured soil and the surrounding green. We will make several stops to take pictures along the road.
The altitude is about 1800 meters. The view of the summits of the Atlas Mountains is breath taking, especially during winter time when it snows. Arriving to the village of Izmir; a beautiful calm and serene place, you will have the pleasure to taste a good Berber tagine in a local restaurant.
After spending some quality time in the village, we will resume our trip to the valley of Assni, known also for its weekly souk of Saturday. We will pass through its long meadows of apple and olive trees including the city of Tahannaout. After a long exciting day we will be retreating to Marrakech.

The OUZOUD waterfall (1 day)
Description:
Early departure from Marrakesh heading the direction of dominates and its beautiful fields of Olive trees.
Continuation to the famous OUZOUD waterfalls about 110 metres high which constitute one of the most spectacular natural beauty spots in Morocco. The surrounding countryside offers red cliffs, oleander and doves and, if you are lucky, you will catch a glimpse of some Barbary apes. Bird-watchers will enjoy a trip to the waterfalls, too as will walkers who can enjoy the area at any time of year.
Lunch at one of the delicious restaurants in OUZOUD surrounded by lime-trees or enjoys Moroccan specialties and fresh squeezed orange juice at one of the many cafes along the terraces on the path to the falls. And a short walk will bring you to the top of the falls from where you can see small and constantly active mills.

ESSAOUIRA Mogador and the ARGAN tree Forests (1 day)
Description:
After departing Marrakech at 8 am you will be personally transported through the vast and breath-taking Moroccan landscape to ESSAOUIRA. On the journey you may see a few scattered villages and some camels, sheep and goats grazing in the countryside.
The vegetation then changes to ARGAN trees that only grow in the wild and which provide berries for local goats to eat. If you wish it is possible to stop for ARGAN oil tasting in a small cooperative run by local women, where the ARGAN oil is extracted from the trees. This multipurpose oil is very famous for its uses in cooking and also in cosmetics.
Nearby you can gaze at a panoramic view of ESSAOUIRA, a charming and artistic blue and white town. Once you arrive to ESSAOUIRA you can explore its peculiar wonders at your leisure. Stroll along the quays, where you can watch fishermen unloading their catch of the day and fishing boats coming back to shore, or enjoy the many good restaurants at the part and dine on fresh fish and seafood.
ESSAOUIRA is a picturesque and divers town where you can explore the historic ramparts and visit the Medina full of local artists selling their crafts made of THUYA wood. The ramparts will give you an insight in to how this old seaport village was armed against the threat of invasion. Parquetry still remains a traditional specialty of ESSAOUIRA, and another beautiful attraction of the region is its tranquil beach, where you could easily spend a relaxing and peaceful afternoon.

OUARZAZATE and AIT BEN HADDOU Kasbah (1 day)
Description:
This day trip takes you right across the chain of the high Atlas Mountains and over the famous “TIZI N’TICHKA” passes 1412 miles (2260 meters) high; the highest in the whole of Africa. All along the route you can see the Berber villages perched on the side of the mountains, sometimes hardly distinguishable from the mountains themselves….
As you reach the far side of the mountains the landscape changes dramatically, becoming semi-arid and desert-like. Here is the Kasbah architecture with turrets on all the buildings, adorned with grilled windows and soft peach coloured walls. These traditional houses are made of adobe, highly suitable for the climatic conditions of the south.
Following you journey through the beautiful valleys you will arrive at the ancient Kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU, which is a UNESCO world Heritage listed site. After visiting the Kasbah you will then journey onward to OUARZAZATE, world renowned as the Moroccan Hollywood because of the famous films which have been shot there, including the “diamond of Nile”, “Lawrence of Arabia”, “Sodom et Gomorra”, “le joyful du Nil”, “Jesus de Nazareth”, “kingdom of heaven”, “the Mommy”, “Gladiator”, “7 days in Tibet”, “Alexander the GREAT”, “Babel”…
You can also take the chance to visit the TAOURIRT Kasbah, classified by UNESCO as world heritage listed site. You may also stop by a cinema studio if this would interest you…

ZAGORA Dunes and DRAA Valley 1Night/2Days

1theDay: Marrakech – Ait BEN HADDOU – Ouazarate-Zagora

In the morning, an enjoyable drive across the High Atlas Mountains, through TIZI N’TICHKA’s pass over a 2260 meters, Beautiful villages suspended on the flanks of the mountains … well call a halt to visit the Kasbah of AIT BEN HADDOU, registered to the world heritage of the UNESCO, hundreds of movies are shot in this local design: the MOMMY, GLADIATOR, 7 DAYS IN TIBET, BABEL, ALEXANDRE…
After lunch, we continue to the south through the lunar landscapes and the pre-Sahara routes until we get to ZAGORA. The next five kilometres will let you see the first sand dunes and give you a taste of Sahara desert…Sunset and sunrise views from these dunes are unforgettable… you will experience a true camel trek in the desert, enjoying the grand solitude, immensity, and silence of the Sahara. Have Dinner and sleep at tents overnight in ZAGORA.

2ndDay: ZAGORA-DARAA Valley – OUARZAZATE- Marrakech 
After the breakfast, departure to Marrakech, on the way, visit the city of OUARZAZATE where you can visit the TAOURIRT KASBAH and cinema’s studios, then we drive back to Marrakech by the TIZI N’TICHKA road.
